Theme page Femdom & Femdom lifestyle

On this website, we devote a lot of attention to Femdom and the Femdom lifestyle. This is mainly because I, the owner and author of this website (Mrs Moriah), am a Femdom myself. Of course, the Femdom lifestyle is just one of many movements within BDSM and there is much more, but it is simply a fact that “what the heart is full of, the mouth speaks.” And of course, that doesn’t mean that the other movements within BDSM are not discussed on this site, because they most certainly are, but the Femdom lifestyle does have a special place here… Hence its own theme page: Femdom & Femdom lifestyle. With all the articles that have been posted on this site over time on this theme.

What is Femdom?

Femdom is a contraction of ‘female domination’. The term already reveals what it is all about, because Femdom is about power to women, the experience is based on the fact that women are biologically and/or spiritually superior to men. The term ‘Female supremacy’ or LFA (Loving Female Authority) is also sometimes used, but it amounts to the same thing.

Just as there are a thousand and one names used for the submissives, the same applies to the dominant ladies. They are called Femdom Mistress, Lady, Dominatrix, FemDomme, Mommy, Princess, Goddess, Lady, Boss, (Body) Owner, Domina, Goddess, and many more. My sub, for example, calls me ‘Darling’, but he does so outside of the experience as well. After all, I am and always will be his ‘darling’, no matter what he has to do for me.

Femdom is not just a modern phenomenon

Femdom has existed for centuries. After all, there have always been powerful women. Just think of Cleopatra or Mary Magdalene. However, attempts have been made in various ways to “unpower” these women or degrade them in their “being.” Rome even declared a damnatio memoriae on Cleopatra, as a result of which little art from her time has been found. And we all know that Mary Magdalene was (completely unjustifiably) dismissed as a “prostitute.” These women could never be completely erased from history, so they degraded them in this way. However, it is likely that this happened to many powerful women, but they may have played less prominent roles, making it easy to keep them out of the history books and leaving us with no knowledge of them today.
