No doubt you have combed the internet for the differences between a sub(missive) and a slave. You have surely fought your way through loads of pictures and texts to end up here at last... Welcome, I am Seerena and I am a slave.

Sub versus slave

The essential difference between a sub and a slave lies in how you experience it yourself. Put bluntly, a sub is someone who now and then feels the desire to be submissive in between normal life. In broad terms they keep control themselves within their own limits, and the Dominant gives shape to this. Being a slave involves submissive feelings, just like being a sub. But she handles them in a completely different way. She feels the influence of her Dominant/Domina all day long, lives under imposed rules and has given up the freedom to say "no". Being a slave sits just under your skin and you are always occupied with it.

Fixed rules for living

Does it scare you off? There's no need, it looks scarier on paper than it is, believe me! My experiences as a slave range from very strict, with fixed rules for living and heavy control, to relaxed interaction with each other. It all depends on how your Master or Mistress shapes it; your 'task' in it is to obey unconditionally. And to have no doubts about the rules and/or assignments imposed on you. Outside of that you are simply a human being, with all your worries and fun... your Master/Mistress has an eye for that too.

Devoted and obedient

A slave is in essence devoted and obedient. She has the will to carry out assignments at all times, however awkward or difficult they may be. That is where she draws her pride from. You can be challenged to surpass yourself and so grow. Not only for your Master/Mistress but for yourself too. As long as you know that carrying out these tasks helps your Master/Mistress. It makes you proud, and above all you can learn from it yourself. Because believe me... you will be tested and challenged in this, to get to know you better as a slave. To seek out your limits, to know where your breaking point lies. But above all to let you be the perfect slave for him/her. WHAT IS YOUR TASK AS A SLAVE.

Representative

A slave is always representative of her Master/Mistress and represents his/her name and reputation among other slaves and Dominants. She acts in the spirit of the situation and knows how to respond when something is unclear, and resolves it independently; a slave is, after all, smart, communicatively skilled, proud and solves problems when necessary. A slave takes care of her Master/Mistress just as she is cared for. You are responsible for your own physical condition, but your mental condition must also be in order. It is very important to let him/her know when it is not, so that action can be taken.

At your Dominant's service

As a slave you are at your Master/Mistress's service at all times and it is your task to carry everything out to perfection, or as well as possible... you can fail dreadfully, but that doesn't matter as long as you learn from it and manage it next time. It is the Dominant's task to teach you further, guide you in this and help you make progress, not only to become better for his/her convenience, but also so that you can keep growing as a slave.

As a slave you will not and do not want to take anything from your Master/Mistress; you draw your pleasure, enjoyment and pride from what you may do for him/her and what is assigned to you... it sounds a bit negative, I know, but the feeling you get from one loving caress, from a few encouraging words whispered in your ear to keep going, makes you float and rise to unprecedented heights, and your reward lies in the look of pride that you were willing to endure it purely to please your Master/Mistress.

Loyalty

The most important thing you can give your Master/Mistress is your will to submit, to place yourself in service and to endure purely for him/her, and to have no eye for all the glitter and glamour around it. There are plenty of temptations that can make you doubt, and it is your strong urge to serve and obey only your Master/Mistress that lets you say no to them politely yet firmly. You have complete trust in him/her that what you can or must do has been thought through, and however strange it may be, there is a reason for doing precisely that at that moment... as a slave you are not always told the motives; loyalty lies in the smallest things, and they make a big impression.

And now?

Quite a story, isn't it, and it is not something to take lightly... being a slave, what sits in you by nature, appeals to the imagination of many Dominants and Dommes, but also of subs, to see a slave and the devotion that hangs visibly and invisibly around her, her eye for detail and knowing what her Master/Mistress desires and needs without being directed, the independence and pride she radiates, and how she responds to the slightest gesture and carries out what it means for her.

Her respectful approach and dealings with other Dominants, while declining inappropriate requests in such a subtle way, is an art in itself. You will learn all of this under the guidance of your Master/Mistress, but deep down you already have these qualities in you... they only need to be brought to the surface, refined and brought to full bloom by the Master or Mistress who is perfect for you.

Take your time

So the tip I want to give you is to take the time to find someone who can do all of this for you, the Dominant who makes your feelings run wild with the wish to serve him or her. And of course you will sometimes get it wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, you learn from it too, but as a slave you must also learn to trust your feelings and your mind; that is valuable for you and for your future Master or Mistress.

They take the time to help you become a worthy slave, to let you grow and guide you to a higher level, to teach you to explore your limits, and they trust you to guard your own limits while giving you the trust that they guard your limits for you. No Master/Mistress expects a yes-nodder who follows orders blindly and above all aimlessly; you are expected to think for yourself as well as being obedient.

Be the most worthy slave you can be: smart and intelligent, proud, but above all strong!

Rules can be learned; being a slave is what you are.
