Privacy Statement

At BDSMforyou we take your privacy seriously. You can visit this website without us knowing who you are: we do not use tracking cookies, do not show personalised advertising and never sell data. Logging in is only needed for our online trainings and apps, and is entirely your choice. This statement explains which data we do process in a few cases, why, and what your rights are.

Who are we?

BDSMforyou.nl is created and managed by Mistress Moriah. Insert Internetuitgeverij, trading as BDSMforyou, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. Insert Internetuitgeverij is a sole proprietorship registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 27190568. VAT number NL001713667B70. Cookies

This website does not place cookies on visitors' devices, except one necessary cookie when you log in (see below). That is why you will not see a cookie banner.

• After the question whether you are 18 or older, your own browser remembers your answer (in your device's local storage). This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

• In the BDSM Lexicon your browser also remembers your language and font size, reading positions you make without internet (until they have been sent), the files of the app itself, and the e-books you save offline yourself. Those e-books are encrypted with a key that only works in your browser, expire after no more than 30 days or earlier if your subscription ends, and are deleted when you log out.

• Only the site administrator receives a necessary session cookie after logging in. This does not apply to visitors.

• If you log in with a BDSMforyou account, we place one necessary cookie so that you stay logged in on BDSMforyou.nl and in our trainings and apps. The cookie only contains a random key, no personal data, and is not used to track you. It is removed when you log out.

Visitor statistics

We count how many visitors the site has and which pages are read, so we can see what is useful and share our reach with advertisers. We do this without cookies and without tracking you: we do not store IP addresses and do not build profiles. Advertisers only see totals, never data about individual visitors.

Technical server data

Like every web server, our server keeps a technical log including your IP address, the time and the requested page. We need this to keep the site secure and to investigate faults or abuse (our legitimate interest). These log files are kept for no more than 14 days.

Contact by email or WhatsApp

If you contact us, for example with a question or about coaching or a workshop, we only use your name, contact details and message to reply to you and arrange any appointment. We handle this discreetly. We do not keep messages longer than necessary; for appointments and invoices the statutory retention periods apply (7 years for the Dutch tax authorities).

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address (and your name, if provided) to send it to you. Your subscription only becomes active after you confirm it via a link in an email. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every newsletter; we then delete your data. The legal basis is your consent.

BDSMforyou account, online trainings and apps

For our online trainings and apps, such as the trainings What is BDSM?, Sissy training and The Art of Conditioning in BDSM and the knowledge app BDSM Lexicon, you need a BDSMforyou account. We then process the following data:

• For your account: your email address, your language, what you bought or received from us (and until when), the date on which you declared that you are 18 or older, agreed to the terms and gave consent for special categories of data (see below), and the devices on which you are logged in (only a name such as “iPhone · Safari” and when you last used the device; no IP addresses).

• In a training: which lessons you have read, your answers to the knowledge checks (only whether they were correct), your exam attempts with date and score, and your certificate (the name you choose yourself, the number, the date and your score).

• In the BDSM Lexicon: which terms, articles, e-books and music you save as favourites, where you left off in an e-book, and, with an annual subscription, your personal renewal code and whether you have used it. The e-books contain a personal watermark with your email address, visible only to you, to discourage distribution.

• If you ask Mrs Moriah for help: your question, our answer and the date.

• Not: your answers to the reflection questions. They stay only on your own device; we cannot see them.

We only use this data to make your account, the trainings and the apps work: logging in, saving your progress, marking the exam, creating your certificate, answering your questions and saving your favourites and reading positions. The legal basis is the performance of the contract with you.

The fact that you use a training or app about BDSM, which topics you save or read in the Lexicon, and what you write in a help question, may reveal something about your sex life or preferences. These are special categories of personal data. For this we ask for your explicit consent when you first log in. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account. We handle this data with extra care: only Mistress Moriah (and helpers she explicitly appoints for this) can see it, and it never appears in reports or log files.

We only send you emails related to your account: your login code, a welcome email after a purchase, a message when your help question has been answered and, with an annual subscription to the Lexicon, your renewal code. The subject lines are deliberately neutral. We only send promotional emails if you have subscribed to the newsletter.

Retention: we keep your account and the data in the trainings and apps for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself at any time under “My BDSMforyou”; we then delete everything immediately, in all trainings and apps. After deletion, your data may remain in our secured backups for up to 30 days. The webshop keeps orders and invoices for the statutory period of 7 years.

Buying: you order and pay in our webshop bdsmforyou.shop (payment via Mollie). The webshop only passes on the email address and order number to us, so that you get access automatically. The webshop’s privacy statement applies to the webshop.

Personal ads

If you place a personal ad, we process your title, text, category, region and photos, the date of placement and approval, and any reports. When you upload your photos, we remove the hidden data from them (such as location and device). Online, only a blurred version is shown; the sharp version can only be seen by logged-in visitors who click on it.

A personal ad says something about your sexual preferences: that is special category personal data. You place the personal ad yourself and thereby consciously make it public to visitors of BDSMforyou. We do not let individual personal ads be found via Google and other search engines.

If someone responds to your personal ad, we forward that response to your email address, together with the sender’s email address so that you can reply. The sender only sees your email address when you write back.

Retention: we delete a personal ad and its photos 3 months after approval, or earlier if you delete it yourself or if it is rejected. We do not store responses: we only forward them. We keep reports until 3 months after the personal ad has been deleted. After deletion, data may remain in our secure backups for up to 30 days. The webshop keeps the order itself (only “Personal ad”, without the content) for the statutory period of 7 years.

Videos and links to other sites

• YouTube videos are only loaded when you click the play button. Only then do you connect to YouTube (Google), and their terms and cookies apply. A video's preview image is served from our own server, so YouTube only sees your visit once you click play.

• Buttons to our social media, the webshop (bdsmforyou.shop) and Petje af are ordinary links. No data is shared unless you click them. Those sites have their own privacy statements.

Who do we share data with?

We never sell or rent data. We only work with parties that are needed to run the site and our services, and with whom agreements on protecting your data are in place:

• Strato: hosting of the website, the trainings and apps, and sending email (servers within the European Union).

• Our email provider: for receiving and sending email and the newsletter.

• Mollie: payments in the webshop (webshop only; we do not receive payment details).

• Dropbox: storing our encrypted backups. Dropbox may process data in the United States; this transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

We only provide data to authorities when the law requires us to.

Security

The site only works over a secure connection (https). The management area is protected and only accessible to the owner and the helpers she gives access, each only to the part they need. Login codes are valid for 15 minutes and we only store them encrypted. Encrypted backups of the site are made daily and kept for no more than 30 days.

Adults only

BDSMforyou is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of minors.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and withdraw your consent (for example for the newsletter). Send an email to mrsmoriah@bdsmforyou.nl; we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). You can also view your data and delete your account yourself, under “My BDSMforyou”.

Changes

We update this statement when the way we work changes. This version is dated 27 September 2026.
