The tip of the scratcher is sharp, but not so sharp that it leaves scars in the skin. Of course you decide for yourself how hard you drag the scratcher across the skin, but the idea is obviously not to scrape the skin off.

Because it is an extension of your finger, you can easily and precisely control the pressure. You decide whether your sub gets to enjoy it or whether he gets to suffer quite a bit.
