I had used a similar whip once before, belonging to another Mistress, and I fell in love with it straight away. Breaking it in

I soon notice that this is a whip that needs to be broken in properly. At first it is still a bit stiff to use. Because the whip can't 'swish' properly in the beginning, you miss the swishing, cracking sound. Don't let that discourage you, though!! This whip really will deliver what it promises, but it needs a little time to get going. Take that time, because after a few hundred strokes (to be honest, I didn't count them), you'll notice it hits better and better. Just like an expensive fountain pen that adapts to your hand, the same goes for this whip. The more often you use it, the suppler it becomes and the better (and nicer) it strikes.

That very same evening I had achieved my goal. My sub had buttocks redder than red and I had a properly broken-in whip! Halfway through I did have to put a ballgag in my sub, to stop the neighbours from complaining about the noise… ;)

Of course you don't have to do the practice strokes on your sub, but you certainly can. Hitting your sub's backside is of course a lot more fun than practising on a cushion.

In practice

The whip comes packaged in a transparent plastic bag. The whip owes its name, 'Devil's Tail', to its pointed leather tip, which resembles the tail of a Devil. Once the whip is properly broken in, though, you can inflict devilish pain with it. Swishing and cracking, it will give your sub what he deserves. He will take the strokes moaning, and you will enjoy every moment.
The handle of the whip is wrapped in red and black leather straps, so it sits nicely in the hand. The wrist strap on the handle makes sure you don't accidentally let it fly out of your hands 'in the heat of the moment'.

The whip is beautifully and solidly made, so you'll enjoy it for a long time. I'm sure that once it has been broken in properly, it will earn a place in your basic kit, for many devilish moments.
