In the world of femdom, there are places that capture the imagination. One of those places is the OWK, or Other World Kingdom. A self-proclaimed matriarchal kingdom where women held absolute power and men knew their place. But what exactly was the OWK? Does it still exist? And what made it so special?

What was the OWK?
The Other World Kingdom was founded on 1 June 1996 in the Czech Republic. Based in a 16th-century castle in the municipality of Černá, Žďár nad Sázavou, the OWK presented itself as an independent micronation. Although it was never officially recognised by other countries, it had its own flag, anthem, currency, passports, courts and even a police force.
The OWK was more than a resort; it was a living community based on the principles of female supremacy. Women, known as "Sublime Ladies", had complete control, while men served as "slaves", without rights and completely subject to the will of their mistresses.
What made the OWK so special?
The OWK was unique of its kind. It offered a physical space where femdom was not only practised, but lived. The 3-hectare site included, among other things:
The Queen's Palace with a throne room, library, torture chambers and an extensive underground prison.
The Long House with accommodation, a swimming pool, a restaurant and the Wanda Nightclub.
An indoor riding arena and stables for pony play.
A 250-metre oval track and a small lake.
Events such as slave hunts, pony races and spanking competitions were the order of the day. The OWK was a place where fantasy and reality merged.
Does the OWK still exist?
In 2008 the OWK was put up for sale for eight million euros. Although the physical kingdom closed its doors to the general public, the site remained in the organisation's possession. From 2016, the facilities were used sporadically for film shoots, short-term confinements of male slaves and events for female citizens of the OWK.
In 2016, Queen Patricia I launched the Womania Empire, a new project aimed at creating a modern version of the OWK. The Womania Empire strives for a society based on female supremacy and femdom principles.
What is the Womania Empire?
The Womania Empire is not a resort like the OWK was, but rather an international conceptual empire with its own symbolism, structure and ideology. It is intended as a worldwide network of women who believe in female dominance, with roles within it for female “citizens” and male “slaves”.
It has (just as the OWK once did) its own:
Constitution
Titles and nobility for dominant women (think Lady, Duchess, Princess)
Ceremonies and honours
Code of conduct for men (based on submission and servitude)
Notably, the Womania Empire has no fixed location or public resort, as the OWK did. Instead, it focuses on an online presence, gatherings and symbolic structures, with the occasional physical event or project that fits the ideology.
Is there anything similar?
Although the OWK was unique, there are other initiatives that try to offer a similar experience. The Womania Empire is an example of this. In addition, there are femdom resorts and events worldwide that, albeit on a smaller scale, try to match the atmosphere of the OWK. However, no location has so far managed to replicate the full immersion and structure of the OWK.
