Sometimes I feel like a kind of Don Quixote tilting at windmills. For years now I have been using the platform Fetlife. One of the few kinky platforms where you can share your kinky photos and sadistic brainwaves without being punished for it. Lovely, because platforms like that are rare. However... even Fetlife has its limitation: everything to do with Femdom is ignored there. Is that really because it is a mansworld and the creators think this is utterly silly?

Expanding the D/s relationships and roles

I have suggested several times that the D/s relationships be expanded with Femdom slave, Femdom sub, Femdom slave girl and Femdom Lady. I'm not the only one who has done this; several other people have done it with me. When it comes to roles, all sorts of things are possible. Let me pick out a few of the options:

Wrathsponge
Minion
Pillow queen
Cowboy
Unicorn
Drone
Squirrel
Monsterfucker
Scratching post
Circus Master

But there is nothing, and I really do mean nothing, absolutely, completely, nothing, nada, zilch, for the Femdom follower. No Femdom lady, no Femdom Mistress, no Femdom slave, no Femdom sub, and as a submissive woman you can't even choose slave girl (slavin) and so have to settle for the role of slave (slaaf).

Why not?

That is exactly the question I constantly ask myself too: why not? And I truly have no idea. I know that a number of requests have been submitted recently for this expansion of roles. And still nothing is done with them. But you can choose Unicorn, Drone or Cupcake...

However, I no longer have any idea how to get it done, because asking nicely is apparently not an option. That they might not embrace everything, okay, but nothing? Yet there is the option of wrathsponge? What on earth is a wrathsponge? How many wrathsponges can there possibly be in the whole world?

Frustration

Do I sound frustrated? Yes, that's right. I would very much like to choose Femdom Lady, since that role (??) suits me best. And that isn't possible. So for years now I have had the role of Dominant, which Fetlife also abbreviates to Dom (instead of Domme), a purely masculine title. Why?

So I just climb back onto Rocinante (read: I pick up my laptop again), transform my own little schlemiel into Sancho Panza, so that together we can keep fighting all those windmills (and goodness, how many of them there are by now in Flevoland!!). In the hope that one day there will come a moment when I can proudly choose the role of Femdom Lady on Fetlife too.

I fear, however, that I won't live to see that, because It's a mansworld and that will never change.
