How do you use an anal douche to rinse?

If you love anal play and want to be pleasured anally with (for example) a strap-on, it’s important that you present a clean ass. No dominant wants to deal with your steaming, smelly waste. That’s dirty, that’s gross, that’s disgusting. And yes, even if you use an anal douche to clean yourself thoroughly, things can still go wrong, but at least do your best to minimize that risk! As a Pro Domme, I’ve regularly been asked: “Mistress, how should I rinse?” That’s why I’d like to explain it in this blog.

What do you need?
To thoroughly clean your intimate areas, you need an anal douche. This is a device used to clean the inside of the anus (the rectum). Anal douches are available in various models, so choose one that suits you and is most comfortable for you to use. You can opt for a simple hand pump, but there are also special attachments available that you can connect to your shower. I’ve selected a few models for you to give you an idea of what’s available.
More about the anal douche
An anal douche is also known as a klysma, colonic irrigation, lavement, or enema. They all mean the same thing: cleansing the lower part of the intestine. An anal douche is suitable for both men and women, by the way. No distinction is made here. However, an anal douche is not intended for vaginal use. To avoid potential infections, it’s better to use an intimate douche for this purpose, or at least a different pump.
Which one should you choose?
Not sure which anal douche to choose? If you’re new to this, I recommend starting with a silicone hand pump. These are made of soft material and are easy to use. Because they’re flexible, they’re easy to insert, which reduces the risk of damaging the intestinal wall.
If you have more experience, you might want to choose a model with a water connection. This can often clean the anus a bit deeper and more thoroughly and ensures a continuous water supply. These douches also last longer, so if you use them often (or plan to), this is the better option.
When purchasing, check for any sharp edges and assess the quality of the douche. The shape of the handle is also important. Opt for a round handle rather than a flat one.
Never use someone else’s anal douche due to the risk of transmitting hepatitis C.
How does it work?
Step 1
Go to the bathroom to rinse before using the anal douche. This prevents too much stool from coming out during the first rinse. Start rinsing at least 45 to 60 minutes before you plan to have anal sex.
Step 2
Proceed hygienically and carefully. Wash your hands first before you begin, and clean the anal douche thoroughly with soap before using it. Make sure all soap residue is rinsed away completely before you start.
Step 3
Of course, this depends on the type of anal douche you’ve chosen. If you’ve chosen the hose, connect it to your existing shower, turn on the faucet, and make sure lukewarm water comes out. If you’ve chosen the hand pump, fill it with lukewarm water. It’s best to keep the water temperature at body temperature – between 36°C and 37°C. This feels most comfortable.
Step 4
Apply lubricant to the tip. If you find this very nerve-wracking, you can use an anal spray. This has a numbing effect on the sphincter muscle, thereby preventing unnecessary pain and irritation during penetration.
Step 5
Stand close to the toilet. Try to relax. Gently insert the nozzle about 2 to 3 centimeters into the anus, exhaling as you do so. Gently squirt the water inside until it feels like your butt is full of water. Try to hold it in for a moment (about a minute), then sit on the toilet, relax your anus, and let the water (with stool) flow out. Repeat this until only clean, clear water comes out.
Try not to rinse more than 6 times. Actually, it should be fine after just 3 or 4 times. If that’s not the case and stool is still coming out after 6 times, stop.
Step 6
Dry your buttocks with a damp toilet wipe. Avoid using regular toilet paper, as it can leave residue, which isn’t pleasant. Pat with a soft towel and you’re done.
Step 7
After half an hour, sit on the toilet again. Some water may still be draining from your intestines. Let it flow out gently.
Step 8
Clean all used products with a good toy cleaner.
Does rinsing hurt?
If you do it properly and carefully, rinsing doesn’t hurt. Some people even use it as foreplay because rinsing the anus provides a pleasant tingling sensation, which can have a relaxing effect.
Anal rinsing and safety
The tissue of the intestinal wall is delicate and also contains many beneficial bacteria, so do not use anal douches too often (no more than twice a month). These bacteria protect you against potential infections, so you make yourself more susceptible to illness if you rinse them away too frequently.
Using soap can also disrupt the intestinal flora, so it’s best not to use soap in the rinse water.
Do not share your anal douche with others to prevent the transmission of STIs.
After use, clean the pump or attachment with a good toy cleaner. A metal anal douche can also be boiled or cleaned with an antibacterial wipe.
Avoid using silicone-based lubricants. These can damage the material of the hand pump, making it easier for bacteria to settle.
Do not perform an enema if you have heart problems or an irregular heartbeat.
Never perform an enema on someone who is hanging upside down. This is not only very painful but also dangerous.
Stop the enema immediately if you experience abdominal pain.
Never use medication to prevent bowel movements. This can disrupt the natural rhythm of the intestines.
Never flush your bowels after sex. If someone has ejaculated inside you (whether accidentally or not) without a condom, flushing your bowels could push the semen further inside, increasing the risk of HIV or other STIs.
Always listen to your body. It may react differently each time, so if something doesn’t feel right, stop.
