You can easily set the pressure of the clamps by turning the little pins. The tighter you turn the clamps, the more pain it will give your sub. The clamps are perfectly suitable for anyone starting out with BDSM. They are easy to put on (much easier than they look) and you can dose the intensity well. That also makes them well suited to the experienced BDSM player, because you can make them really nastily painful, but you don't have to.
