On Sunday 28 September, the first edition of the Ladies Lunch – The Goddess Edition took place, an exclusive day in Dendermonde, especially for Dominant women who truly embody feminine power. For me personally it was not a short trip – two and a half hours in the car each way – but it was absolutely worth it to me. Looking back, all I can say is: this was more than worth the effort.

A warm welcome

From the moment you arrived, you could feel the care and warmth with which the day had been put together. Mistress Taurus welcomed us personally, and it was immediately noticeable how much love and attention she had put into the details. From the reception to the little gifts: everything breathed hospitality. It was precisely that attention that gave a wonderful feeling of being pampered, which set the tone for the rest of the day.

The day began ceremonially, with a joint reception and a toast to feminine power. It was a beautiful and powerful moment of connection that immediately bonded all the ladies together.

Lunch and workshops

The buffet lunch was generous and delicious. There was plenty of choice, both hot and cold, and you could tell that quality and variety had been deliberately taken care of.

After lunch, three workshops followed: fire cupping, needleplay (both given by Lady Amanda) and foot massage (by Feino). Each part was explained calmly and clearly, with room for questions. Especially during the fire cupping there was ample opportunity to practise yourself, with or without your own sub. Lady Amanda gave the workshop with great patience and clarity. It inspired me to dig my old set of glass cups with alcohol balls out of the dust again - actually much more fun than always just going for the convenience of the rubber pumps.

The foot massage workshop had a practical focus, certainly for submissives who like to pamper their Domina. The ladies also received a lovely little gift: a bottle of massage oil with a scent of their choice. I chose mandarin myself, because I love fresh citrus scents. A very welcome addition.

My contribution

I was honoured to be asked to give a TED-style talk about what Femdom is – and perhaps even more importantly – what it is not. I shared my vision with love, because I find it essential to spread this message: there is not just one right way of doing Femdom, it is always about authenticity and staying true to yourself. The responses were warm and sincere, and it felt special to be able to do this on such an intimate and powerful day.

The atmosphere

What made the day truly special was the atmosphere. Warm, friendly and with sincere attention for one another. It did not feel like a “party” in the traditional sense, but rather like a gathering of like-minded people who respected and inspired each other. Striking was the (relatively) large number of female slaves. You often encounter fewer of them at Femdom parties, but here they were present in force - and that added an extra dimension to the experience.

Conclusion

The first edition of the Ladies Lunch – The Goddess Edition was without a doubt a success. Well looked after, educational, intimate and warm. Especially at a time when good-quality Femdom events are scarce, this is an initiative that deserves to be cherished and continued. I sincerely hope this is here to stay and will develop into a lovely, regular Femdom experience.

In short: an absolute must for every Domina who wants to celebrate her power in a setting of warmth, connection and quality. So keep a close eye on the next edition, because it promises to be special once again!
