What is a nose hook used for?

The nose hook can be used in a specific type of bondage. It allows you to force the head backward. This is quite intense, as the neck (and nose) are vulnerable. So it’s not really suitable for beginners. The nose hook can also be used beautifully as part of humiliation. After all, it’s quite a precarious situation to be held by the nose like that. The sub looks just like a little piglet.

The nose hook

The nose hook consists of a stainless steel hook and a leather strap. The hook is inserted into the nose (gently, to avoid bleeding). The strap can be fastened around the head. Sometimes the stainless steel hook is sold separately, and you can attach it to the head yourself using a strap or chain. Often, you can attach the nose hook to a ball gag or other gag. Sometimes an extra strap is included; it just depends on which type you choose. For example, there are also neck collars with a nose hook extension.

Bondage

You can incorporate the (separate) hook into a rope bondage setup. This allows you to tilt the head slightly backward and, for example, attach the hook to the wrists. Or, if your sub is wearing a collar, attach it to the collar’s ring (which you can rotate for this occasion so the ring sits at the back). From there, you can apply the rest of the bondage.

Safety

Of course, your nose isn’t designed to have a stainless steel hook inserted into it, so it’s important to proceed with caution. This applies not only to the nose (inserting the hook too forcefully) but also to the neck (tightening the ropes too much). Serious bodily harm can result if they aren’t positioned correctly or if they’re tightened too tightly.

After use, clean the nose hook with a good toy cleaner or other disinfectant, so it’s ready for next time!
