The bed restraints are carefully packed in a nice box. The straps and cuffs themselves are packed separately again in a plastic bag. I love it when attention has also been paid to the packaging. It immediately gives a product something extra. The red/black motif of the cuffs has a baroque feel. I love it. Baroque has something tough about it, but it is also chic. Perhaps I find the look suits a woman a little more, but then again, my sub is a little slut, so it suits him perfectly.

The material feels pleasant. I can see that the inside of the cuffs is lined with plush. That will undoubtedly feel wonderfully soft to him. Not that I consider it necessary, but it is a nice thought in itself when I want to leave him tied up for a whole night. No cutting materials that would oblige me to free him halfway through the night.

In practice

Besides four cuffs, the package also contains five straps that you can use to restrain your sub. The cuffs are all identical, so there are no separate wrist and ankle cuffs. In itself that's no problem at all, because thanks to the long Velcro with which you fasten the cuffs, they always fit (and on everyone). I find that convenient, because I can now pretty much blindly pick up a cuff and put it on my sub without checking whether it's the right one.

The long straps mean you can restrain your sub on the bed in all sorts of ways. My bed 'happens' to have bars, but if your bed doesn't, you can also put the straps around the bed, so your sub is truly bound defenceless to the bed itself. The metal hooks mean the cuffs can also be attached to each other, or to whatever else you want to fasten your sub to. A set with which you can vary endlessly. Your imagination is really your only limit.

This Scandal series, by the way, includes more products, such as a spreader bar, a mouth gag and a leash (dog lead). All made in the same red/black baroque motif.
As everything is made of polyester, you can also wash the set without any problem. If you want to use the set for several people, that is certainly more hygienic.

It is a great multifunctional set that is perfectly suited to use in bed, but just as well outside it. The set is an excellent basic kit!
