When someone asks me what I consider a good electro unit, I always say: "I don't care what you use, as long as it's a Mystim". I find the Mystim units by far the most pleasant to work with. The first time

Getting started with electro for the first time is of course pretty exciting. Have you read up on it properly beforehand? You must not use this device on people with heart problems and/or a pacemaker or with heart rhythm disorders. You must not use it if you are pregnant either. Don't place electrodes on eyelids or on places where the skin is damaged. It's best to use the electrical stimulation below the waist and preferably not above it. In the upper part of the body you are close to the heart. Electrical stimulation does something to your muscles, and your heart is a muscle too. You don't want it to lose its rhythm or start doing other scary things. Below the waist you run a lot less risk and, let's be honest, there's plenty of fun to be had down there!

Is everything in place?

When you begin, make sure you first attach the electrodes (or other fun toys) properly to the body. Only when you are sure everything is in place do you switch the unit on. Don't suddenly turn that dial wide open, because then your sub will be hitting the ceiling and (rightly) never want to play with electro sex again. With electricity you work very carefully and calmly. You're in no hurry and you build up the intensity a tiny bit at a time. You keep a close eye on the other person and watch all the signals from their body. Once you've figured out what the unit does to the other person, you can play a little with the intensity. Turn it back a bit, up a little, as long as you always stay within the other person's limits. You may push it a little and occasionally go a tiny bit over, but please don't suddenly turn that dial fully open.

Never forget to apply a contact gel beforehand for good conduction.

Conclusion

As I began this review by saying, I've been super enthusiastic since my first encounter with Mystim. This is one of the few sets I trust on my sub. My sub actually finds electricity very scary, but thanks to the Mystim units he has gained confidence in it and can now really enjoy it. Electricity always remains exciting, but when you know it's safe, it's a healthy kind of tension. The way the unit works is clear and if you build everything up slowly, you can have a lot of fun with electro stimulation. A big plus is of course that the set can be expanded much further, so the electro experience becomes ever more fun, intense and versatile. That makes this set a wonderful basic set!

The price

The price of the Mystim Tension Love E-Stim Tens Unit at the moment is 109,99 euros (reduced from 139,99 euros). In my experience the prices of sex toys can fluctuate quite a bit, so it may well be cheaper or more expensive after a while.
