Despite the name anal beads, anal balls or anal pearls, these Chinese balls can also be used vaginally. They are hard little balls strung along a kind of cord. They can be made of plastic, but there are also ones made of metal or glass, and nowadays you mostly see them made of silicone. The balls themselves are about 1 to 2 centimetres across. There is often a ring at the end, so the string is easy to remove again.

Who are the beads meant for?

Anal beads are for both women and men, and even a beginner can get started with them just fine.

How does it work?

Anal beads have two or more beads that are inserted one by one, into the anus or the vagina. You can move them back and forth a little, which can be sexually stimulating. Anal beads are often experienced as "friendlier" than a butt plug. After all, they are not as big and also look a little less intimidating. The beads often vary in size, going from small to slightly larger.

How many beads you eventually insert depends on what feels good to you. The idea is that you remove them just before the orgasm, bead by bead. This sensation will intensify the orgasm even further.
