I fasten the corset around his neck again, but once more I notice that my sub finds it terribly tight, because the front boning line presses on a spot where it shouldn't. I decide that I want to test the corset on several people. Is it down to my sub? Or is it down to the corset?

The opposite

Unfortunately I get the same reaction from several people. The corset looks beautiful, but it doesn't do what you would expect of it. The front boning line should actually follow the body with a curve, but its curve is exactly the opposite, so that the top point lands right against your throat, which gives a choking feeling. That line should really have continued under the chin, but it doesn't. It stops exactly where you don't want it to. So my sub isn't the only one who struggles to breathe in it; the people who wear the corset after him run into the same problem.

Such a shame, because it really is a beautiful corset!! It looks wonderful on him, and if it did what it is supposed to do (namely keep his head under control) I would be raving about this corset. But unfortunately that's not the case. This is more like breath control than bondage.

In practice

The packaging of the neck corset isn't much to speak of, just a plastic bag, but the corset itself looks beautiful. It is wonderfully finished and you can see that attention has been paid to the product. It has several boning lines to keep the head straight, and at the back you can lace the corset up with a cord.

The leather is of lovely, supple quality and sturdy where it needs to be sturdy. The fit is adjustable by making the laces at the back tighter or looser.
The corset is absolutely gorgeous to look at.

No. Sadly not. In itself it seems a fantastic product, but because of that one boning line that, to my mind, doesn't sit properly, I won't be using it more often.
I will try tinkering with it myself, though, so that it might end up sitting properly after all. Because I would love to use it much more often.

No. Not in this form, unless there are people who enjoy something pressing against their throat.

I think it's a real shame about this product that it just doesn't sit right. The neck corset itself looks fantastic. I will definitely try to do something about the corset myself (or via the cobbler), so that it ends up sitting properly and no longer overshoots its purpose. Hopefully it works, because otherwise the corset is simply gorgeous.
