There is no better sub than a silent sub. Unfortunately, I have a noisy parrot. You know the type, the one who, just from looking at a whip, bursts into screams and cold sweat and also has no idea when he'd better keep quiet. Preferably always, if it were up to me, but he doesn't seem to understand that. That chatterbox of his never stops. Except when I put something in it, like this Pecker gag. My tip to the ladies: maybe you think you can never have enough handbags or shoes, which is true by the way, but believe me, the same goes for gags. And for whips.

By now I have gags in all kinds of shapes, materials and sizes. My absolute favourites are the silicone ones. I find that a more pleasant thought for his teeth. I sometimes see metal gags come past too, but that doesn't seem so nice for his teeth. My sub has to be quiet, but he doesn't have to be broken.

Because I'm always sniffing around for fun new goodies, I came across this pecker gag. A silicone ball gag in the shape of a cock. I love it! So I quickly hit the order button and ordered his new gag with my sub's credit card.

Packaging

The next day the postman rang the doorbell with a plain box in his hands. If only he knew what he had just handed me. Luckily, EasyToys always ships its toys discreetly, so he has no idea whatsoever.

The pecker gag comes in a cardboard box. Inside is a plastic bag containing the gag. Perfectly good packaging, nothing wrong with it. What I always find a pity is that there is no protective pouch included as standard for storing your silicone toys. Silicone is quite sensitive to dust; it's like a magnet that attracts every speck of dust in the room. Of course you can store the gag in the cardboard box, but in my experience those always tear at some point (especially if you open and close them often). And a nice fabric pouch simply gives a lovely luxurious feeling. And I love that.

What is the pecker gag like?

There is nothing else to criticise about the pecker gag. It looks beautiful, soft and sturdy. The gag has an adjustable strap of 60 cm so it can be fitted well. It is made of matt black silicone and the black strap is, I believe, made of split leather. To be honest, I had never heard of this type of leather before, so I looked it up. Split leather is 100% natural, with no artificial treatments used. It is a bit cheaper because this type of leather is created when the hide is split into several layers. Learned something new again.

Because it is made of soft materials, it is also perfectly suitable for the BDSM beginner. The gag can be part of various forms of play. Think humiliation (extra emphasised by the shape!), bondage, slutty experiences, for the cocksucker in training, you name it. You should really have this in your collection as standard, because there is always an occasion for which you can use the gag.

Is there a downside too?

There is, however, one downside to this gag: the strap could have been a bit longer. My sub may have too big a mouth, but his head is of fairly normal size. Still, I didn't have much slack with the strap. It fits him, but his head couldn't have been much bigger, because then it wouldn't have fitted. So make sure to check all the measurements and the tape measure around your sub's head before you go ahead and order.

The more often you use the gag, the more supple the strap becomes, which makes it easier to handle.
