PVC fetish – What exactly is it?
“PVC Fetish – What Is It, Anyway?” was written for BDSMforyou.nl by Mistress Moriah.
You’ve probably heard of a latex fetish at some point, or perhaps the even more well-known leather fetish. But have you ever thought about a PVC fetish? And I’m not talking about people who fondly hold a gutter in their hands or people who like to sleep in a gutter, but rather PVC that’s incorporated into clothing. PVC feels very soft against the skin, and for some people, this evokes a certain kind of arousal.

PVC fetish
There are many fetishes, and one of them is the PVC fetish. Just like with all other fetishes, everyone has their own experience with it. The feel of PVC against your bare skin – and thus also against your genitals and breasts b- can be a pleasant, arousing sensation, especially when wearing tighter clothing.
The experience is further enhanced by the look. At many kinky parties, PVC clothing is often chosen alongside leather and latex.
What is PVC
To get a better idea of this fetish, it might be helpful to first take a look at exactly what PVC is. PVC is an abbreviation for polyvinyl chloride. There are many things made of PVC, including (erotic) toys, everyday items (yes, even those roof or cable ducts), but also, for example, a raincoat.
Special clothing
For the true PVC enthusiast, however, special clothing has been designed. It looks a bit like vinyl, but it isn’t. Vinyl has a lining, but PVC clothing does not. So you wear the plastic directly against your skin. That gives a unique sensation, but you can imagine it gets pretty steamy. So it’s important – just like with latex clothing – to stay well-hydrated if your outfit consists largely of PVC. Because you’re going to sweat!
I myself have a long black PVC coat. It looks super kinky and is really comfortable, but after a night of partying, I’m really glad to take it off. And then I’m freezing.
Sometimes incorporated into something
Sometimes PVC is incorporated into something. For example, there are diaper outfits available for Ageplay that contain PVC. I’ve heard from enthusiasts that this adds an extra dimension to the experience. The crinkling sound, combined with the soft material, is pleasant and exciting.
Extensive collection
You can find an extensive collection of PVC clothing at Mr-riegillio.com, for example. Here you’ll find all kinds of exciting outfits for men: long pants, shorts, shirts, gloves, and even full-body PVC catsuits. They have just one drawback: they don’t carry PVC clothing for women. That’s probably why they’re called Mr. and not Mrs.
How do you care for PVC clothing?
It’s best to hang PVC clothing on a hanger and clean it with a damp cloth – nothing more. Even for raindrops or other spills, just use a damp cloth. Not one of those special wet wipes from a packet (which often contain soap), but just a good old-fashioned damp dishcloth.
Don’t hang your PVC clothing in the sun or near a heater or stove. This applies to other shiny outfits as well, such as latex or patent leather. Unlike latex, you don’t need to rub PVC with any special products; PVC shines on its own.
If you also have a PVC fetish, I’d love to hear about your experiences wearing PVC clothing!
