I have no idea how you feel about it, but I do love a party, and especially a BDSM party, play party or fetish party. Luckily, the Netherlands has plenty to offer, but of course you do need to know where to go! So where are those BDSM parties? Especially if you're still fairly new to the BDSM scene, that can be quite tricky. That's why I've picked out the best BDSM parties for you! Who knows, we might run into each other there one day.

B.I.T.C.H.

By its own account, it is the Netherlands' 'number 1 fetish party'. Whether that's really true? You'll have to find out for yourself, of course. The party always sells out very quickly though, so it's important to be quick. That does say something, but tastes differ. The party is held twice a year, so don't miss it. B.I.T.C.H. has a special character with a lot of respect for one another. Everything mingles here, so straight, gay, subs, slaves (male and female), Masters and Mistresses. There is a dress code and it is strictly enforced. Walking in wearing your everyday clothes isn't going to work.

Showboat – Mistress Manita

Once a month, Mistress Manita organises her Play Party on the Showboat in Zaandijk. She has been doing this for years and it has become a household name in the national and international BDSM world.

It's a combination of a fetish party and a play party. You can play, you can watch and you can dance. The party isn't too big, with a maximum of around 300 guests, so the party has an intimate feel.

The door policy is strict and you have to reserve in advance to get in. This BDSM party also has a dress code. Around 11 pm a hot/cold buffet is served with sweets & snacks.

Wasteland

If you say 'fetish party', you're really saying Wasteland. If you dare to be different, Wasteland is the place for you. Wasteland is the biggest fetish party in Europe, so as a BDSM lover you simply have to go at least once. This is the adult playground for the kinky lover, a Valhalla for the fetishist.

There are no fewer than four dance floors, six stages, a lounge, a restaurant, a smoking area, a relaxation area and a fully equipped dungeon. This BDSM party also has a strict dress code.

Steel Moon

Steel Moon regularly organises BDSM parties. Are you a fan of Old School BDSM? Then Steel Moon is the right address for you. From this year, Steel Moon organises an Old School BDSM party every three months at the Fetish Café. For the gentlemen this means a dark suit or tuxedo, and for the ladies a cocktail dress or skirt suit. High heels are welcome but not compulsory.

As the party evolves, with a clear D/s dynamic always the theme of the evening, submissive men wear dark long trousers or boxers/briefs with a bare upper body. Submissive women are recognisable by their lingerie. Naked is of course always allowed too. A collar remains compulsory but certainly doesn't have to be leather. Cuffs are allowed.

Clearly subservient behaviour from the submissives, such as kneeling, is expected. A certain humility from the submissives towards the Dominants present also sets the atmosphere, which is always dignified and must remain so.

Are you more of a fan of Level-2 parties? You can also go to Steel Moon for those. They organise this event twice a year. What's special about these parties is that you have to be a couple to take part. What else is special about the Level-2 parties? Every submissive must behave humbly and submissively towards every Dominant. The Level-2 parties are also held in an Old School setting.

Kinky Paradise

Are you looking for a slightly less extreme BDSM party? Perhaps Kinky Paradise is something for you? Kinky Paradise is an accessible and welcoming party. It is well suited to the BDSM beginner. These parties aren't too big (max 400 attendees) and men may only enter accompanied by a woman.

These parties also have a dress code: patent, leather, rubber, metal, latex, fetish glamour. The music played is house, progressive, tech house, trance and techno.

VSSM

Curious about BDSM? Want to get to know other BDSM people? Then the play nights of VSSM are very well suited to you. Don't expect buzzing parties with music, but there is definitely playing on these nights. Play nights are organised every month all over the country. For example, there are play nights every second Saturday of the month in The Hague at Club Ron/Paradise club, every first Sunday of the month there is a play party in Nijmegen and Sittard, and on the second Sunday of the month in Utrecht. There are even special nights for young people.

The costs are also low and there is no strict dress code, although dark clothing is appreciated. Are you an instant fan? Then you can also buy a subscription for a whole year (100 euros for couples, 50 euros per person). Then you can go to every VSSM night for free!

Boudoir Bizarre

The BDSM parties of Boudoir Bizarre have a wonderfully underground character and are very popular with fetishists and BDSM people. The parties are a true Old School Fetish event for all fetishists, BDSM players, Goths, TVs, HeHoBis, swingers, cyberotics, burlesques, you name it ...

Real fetish shows and trance in the main hall with Bizarre Walk arounds and Real BDSM acts, The Second Hall reserved for the alternative and Goth-minded Pervs with Industrial, EBM and 80's sounds, BDSM acts and bondage shows. At Boudoir Bizarre everything falls into place. A fetish event like no other. Not massive, but not too small-scale either. Dance, play, socialise and make new friends.

This BDSM party also has a dress code: Rubber, Leather, PVC, Naughty Burlesque, Fetish TV, Erotic Gothic, Fantastic Plastic, Fetish Glam, Uniform, BDSM Playgear.

Toxic

The atmosphere at Toxic is special. There is a healthy no-nonsense mentality without arrogance. You could call it down to earth. So don't expect shows, because they aren't needed. The Brabant fetish scene knows perfectly well how to make a show of it themselves.

Every area has a different vibe and a different chemistry, and if you're tired of dancing, there are some really nice places to sit. The party is recommended if you don't like big crowds but still want to taste a good erotic party. The music styles at Toxic are trance, electro, tech house, house and hard trance.

Toxic also has a dress code: leather, patent or latex.
