This morning I spoke to my Mistress. She told me she had been labelled a man-hater. I laughed out loud, because I recognise that. As a head sub (opperpot) I have heard it regularly too, and meant in all seriousness. I always wonder why these labels get stuck on people. Is it out of their own frustration, narrow-mindedness or some kind of pigeonhole theory? Or perhaps they simply don't know any better, that's possible too. Or do people read what they want to read, just so they can figuratively beat someone with a stick?
