True Femdom is hidden in our whole being

My previous blog "For me, the most beautiful sub is a Femdom sub" turned out to stir up quite a bit of dust. In a positive way. From submissive men and dominant ladies alike, I received lots of (private) messages saying they could completely recognise themselves in the text. Wonderful to hear, of course (and really lovely to receive all those positive, supportive reactions), but it actually surprised me too. Because it should be so logical... The true Femdom is hidden in our whole being. There's nothing strange about that.

Age-old Femdom

Femdom has existed for centuries. For Femdom-lifestyle.nl I once wrote this blog. After all, there have always been powerful women. Just think of Cleopatra or Mary Magdalene. Yet people have tried in all kinds of ways to "unpower" these women or to degrade them in their "being". Rome even declared a damnatio memoriae on Cleopatra, which is why little art has been found of her dating from the time when she was still alive. And of Mary Magdalene we all know that she was (completely unjustly) cast aside as a "prostitute". These women could never be completely erased from history, so they were degraded in this way. There's a good chance, however, that this happened to a great many powerful women, who perhaps played less prominent roles, so that they could very easily be kept out of the history books, and about whom we therefore now know nothing.

Men's world

When I google "Femdom", I first have to wade through a swamp of porn sites before I can find a handful of serious information. My site Femdom-lifestyle (which fully meets all the SEO requirements) can hardly see the light of day, because of the enormously thick layer of muck from porn sites. And don't get me wrong, I have nothing against porn sites, feel free to wander around on them, but... it has absolutely nothing to do with true Femdom! Ten years ago I was already astonished at the minimal amount of serious information in Femdom articles, but that astonishment has only grown over the years. Because whatever I try in order to highlight the serious (and above all normal) side of Femdom, Google simply doesn't allow this information to actually be found, or hardly...

The men's world as we have known it for centuries - full of oppression of women - is still there. However, I don't want to talk about that discussion in this blog. We'll have that another time. In this blog I want to talk about true Femdom.

Hobby or fetish

The concept of Femdom is often brushed aside as a hobby, a bedroom pastime or - if I'm to believe this blog by Sextoyland - even as a "fetish". Excuse me? You absolutely don't have to be a follower or aspire to the same lifestyle, but by dismissing Femdom as a "fetish", you really do a great disservice to a large group of followers. They're not the only ones, by the way. I've had many a discussion with fanatical "LGBTQ supporters" where I'm expected to accept (and respect) that someone identifies as a "Coffee pot", "Otter" or "Robot" (yes, seriously), but "Femdom" is seen as a "hobby"... Perhaps I should dye my hair in Skittles colours too, to be taken seriously by them. But no thanks.

Why is it generally accepted that men are physically stronger than women, but suddenly an "issue" when you talk about women's mental superiority? While in a dualistic world, where everything revolves around the attraction of opposites, that is a logical consequence. We humans are wasteful, but nature is not. Men and women complement each other, as a logical consequence. We're not inferior to one another, so why shouldn't women's mental power be regarded as normal? Just as normal as the acceptance of a man's physical dominance. Simply as a fact. Not a hobby and certainly not a fetish! To use the words of Greta Thunberg: "How dare you!"

The ultimate bitch

And if we're to believe the porn industry, the so-called Femdom lady is nothing more than a sadistic bitch who has to get her way by ranting and screeching. Whether or not waving the longest bullwhip she could find. A caricature of herself. And those are the images the ladies have to work with, because serious information about Femdom is hard to find. No wonder so many women doubt their abilities. And believe me, I regularly come across their insecurities. And one by one I see power ladies standing before me, who sell themselves short by believing they're not good enough, because the world gives a wrong projection of how it should be. Fuck the system! Apologies for my language.

And how happy I am after every workshop when, within a few hours, I see ladies embrace themselves in their whole being. The shyness completely shaken off. Afterwards they stand fully in their energy and their eyes shine. Wow... in those moments I'm so grateful for what I've been able to mean to them.

What does a real Femdom lady look like?

A true Femdom lady colours in her own pictures. We decide for ourselves what our Femdom experience looks like. It's not black and white. We may embrace our dominance, as well as our sadism (because soft-handed surgeons...), but our empathy, warmth and loving side may be there too. Our smile and warm eyes bring our sadism and dominance into the most powerful balance! We don't need to look angrily out at the world to fit the stereotype of the "strict mistress". With our smile, we get the other person to go a step further much faster than through fear... No choices have to be made, it can all simply be there! And that doesn't make us weak, it makes us rock solid!

We may trust our feelings, because it's precisely women whose intuition is well developed. We sense very well what the other person needs, and that is exactly what makes us so strong and powerful. Through our mental power, we can easily get into the other person's head. Simply because of who and what we are... Powerful women! You too! And you! And you!!

Believe in yourself and embrace yourself as a whole. Even if this men's world wants to present you with a false reality, stay true to yourself. Just be who you are. You're a star!

And let's not forget the Femdom sub!

Indeed, let's not forget the Femdom sub. Because to be fair, it's not only Femdom ladies who run into a wall of judgement, prejudice and incomprehension; Femdom subs do just as much. Because "what kind of man lets a woman dominate and/or hit him? He must be a wimp!" Where women's mental strength is hardly accepted, if at all, the same goes for men's surrender. Men who can see and appreciate the mental strength in a woman. Yet with Femdom subs too, it's just as much about accepting their whole being! They may be powerful and strong, but they may just as well express their vulnerabilities, the longing for safety (of boundaries) or the stillness of nothingness.

There's nothing wrong with that. It's precisely the most powerful personalities who can accept their whole being and are therefore in balance with themselves. After all, it's very nice to sometimes be able to do nothing, bound by mental or physical shackles.

Surrender to a lady's mental power doesn't make a Femdom sub weak, it makes a Femdom sub complete (and even stronger).
