“How do I become a Mistress? A reference book for the beginning Domina“ was written for BDSMforyou.nl by Mistress Moriah.

For a long time now, I have been giving workshops with great pleasure to beginning Doms, single subs and/or couples. But for some people, attending a workshop is quite a big step (and it isn't always necessary either). Perhaps you would much rather read up on different play techniques safely at home on the sofa. Or perhaps you are an experienced Domina, but you still have a few specific questions about a certain kind of play. It may also be that you are a care professional who deals with BDSM practices in your work and would like to know more about them. "How do I become a Mistress" is so much more than just a reference book for the beginning Domina.

This book is a source full of inspiring information for anyone who wants to know more about BDSM and especially femdom. It covers dozens of play techniques and informs you about safety and hygiene, but it also shows you the deeper layers.

Not a static thing

I spent months writing and editing this book. Every time I thought it was complete, another new subject popped into my head. In fact, this book is never finished, because there will always be additions. After all, BDSM is not a static thing either; it can't really be captured in a book. That is exactly what makes it so intriguing. For now, however, it is as complete as possible and I can present it with pride. I wrote this book with enormous pleasure and I hope you will enjoy reading it at least as much.

Enthusiasm

After "Jay" and "The superlative of love is BDSM", it is now the third BDSM book I have published. That says something about my enthusiasm and enjoyment. I think it is important to let the world get to know how beautiful and intense BDSM can be, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with those who are still searching. Because even though there is nowadays room for a colour palette of ways of "being", BDSM still remains rather shy in a dark corner. It is often seen as an activity or hobby that should mainly be confined to the bedroom. Whereas BDSM, and femdom in particular, can be so much more.

Spreading the word

With unbridled enthusiasm, I actively work to introduce the (outside) world to the power and splendour of BDSM. Because unknown makes unloved. I do this, among other things, by giving challenging workshops, enlightening lectures, informative websites (Femdom-Lifestyle.nl and MeesteresMoriah.nl), passionate e-learnings, understanding coaching sessions and, of course, by writing inspiring books.
