BDSM terms and meanings: a handy overview

This informative blog on BDSMforyou.nl, covering commonly used BDSM terms and what they mean, was compiled by Mistress Moriah, the authority on loving and safe BDSM / Femdom.

Are you exploring the world of BDSM? During your search you will probably come across specific BDSM terms that you have never heard of. That's not surprising, because there are so many. You can't possibly know them all, as the BDSM scene has plenty of terms of its own. Here we explain them in a bit more detail. Do you have a comment, or is a term missing? Email us!

Of course you don't have to learn everything by heart, but this list is handy when you see a certain term go by and have no idea what it means. I really know subs who mixed up CB and CBT, for example, and ended up with unpleasant surprises... Because instead of your cock being safely stored away in a cage, it suddenly gets tortured... That is a completely different ball game. So read up before you answer anything!
